CodeFetch – Search for source code within books

Posted on January 20, 2007. Filed under: Tools |

Here is a service that lets you search for source codes within the CD’s that comes with the books. There are a variety of languages that you can choose to base your search on and once you hit the “Fetch” button it scans the books that it indexes for those languages and gives you the result from the books that it indexes.

As I was writing this post these languages were supported by CodeFetch,

  • C
  • Cold Fusion
  • Ant
  • C#
  • Flash ActionScript
  • Apache Configuration
  • C++
  • HTML / CSS
  • AppleScript
  • Delphi Pascal
  • Javascript / Ajax
  • SQL
  • Java
  • JSP / JSTL / JSF
  • Unix / Shell
  • Objective-C Cocoa
  • Perl
  • XML-Schema
  • Python
  • PHP
  • XSLT / XPATH
  • Ruby / Rails

They might add more languages in the future. Check in with the site to make sure.

Fetch your source code search from here.
